Spanish artist Coco Dávez – real name Valeria Palmeiro – is having her first solo exhibition in the UK at the Maddox Gallery Westbourne Grove with her most recent collection, ‘Faceless’, from May 10-31 2019.
I designed the marketing material to promote this exhibition. This included a takeover of all advertising sites within Notting Hill Gate tube station, digital billboards, press adverts, invitations, catalogues, and other related promotional assets for the gallery.
Coco’s artworks contribute to a conversation around society’s obsession with icons. By removing the facial features of some of the most recognisable people in the world and asking the viewer to guess who they are, the paintings aim to be a fun examination of the characters that have shaped our popular culture. David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, and the Queen are among a series of portraits on display at Maddox Gallery.

It has been designed with new advertising opportunities to drive sales and also traffic to YOU.co.uk and all their social media channels.
All of the latest news, stories and must-have buys will be sent direct to subscribers inbox each week – and whether they chose to read theirs on a commute, over a leisurely breakfast or coffee, or simply curled up on the sofa, it’s the perfect way to get a YOU time fix.
